This is a cute painting. I would not believe Mattie to be a hyper dog. My daughter is fascinated by this painting she thinks its cool.

Ahhh…how SWEET! Makes me want to give Mattie a big hug.
As I’ve said before, Rhonda, you are SO talented!

So cute!
Princess Bubbles is black and I have the hardest time photographing her, I’m wondering if it’s just as hard to paint a darker animal?
And I do agree with Brenda, you’re very talented!

Hi Suzanne,
I'm so glad you and your daughter like the painting. I have another dog portrait to paint–a little spaniel.
Hey Brenda,
I'm not sure Mattie would let anyone hug her but if you can catch her. . . . she might. Most of the time I don't feel talented but thank you very much!
Hi Sandra (aka Bubs),
I think the darker shades are harder, I always try to photograph when the sun is shining on them to get a little dimension. This spaniel that I'm going to paint is black & white–we'll see how she turns out.
Thanks all,
Rhonda

Hi Pat,
She is full of mischief! When you put your shoes on, she starts biting your feet because she doesn’t want you to leave.
Hi Paz,
Thanks so much–I like painting animals.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
