Welcome to Blogland! Your paintings are exceptional, each one totally unique and with its own personality. I've enjoyed seeing each one, although since lilacs are my favorite flower, the picture on this post is tops!

Thank you for visiting Sea Cottage. Your paintings are beautiful. My favorite is of the ballerina in the turqoise skirt.

Painting with oils was the first medium I learned back in my freshman year of High School. I loved it. And did very well. My art teacher took me under her wing and mentored me. She had such hopes that I would be a successful artist one day. Art was my first love and passion at the young age of 5. I majored in art my first two years of college. But ended up getting a B.A. in nutrition. In college I learned to watercolor paint and that is the only medium I paint in now...which is rarely. But one of my favorite oil paintings was of a ballerina. Sadly I only have a photo of it now. I always gave all my art away. For these past 15 yrs. I have continued to think I will make time for my art...but I still need to. Just to let you know, you inspire me to. So, thank you!
