Beautiful painting, makes me want to take a holiday to the beach.
Thanks for sharing.

I love this painting and the one below! Such vibrant colors!
The one of Heather reminds me so much of my daughter at that age.
You are so talented, Rhonda!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Paz,
Thank you very much, I enjoyed painting them!
Hi Suzanne,
I’m with you, take me to the beach! I’m going to try to go in January.
Hi Pat,
Love your trip to San Diego! My Aunt and I went and had such a good time–we talk about going back some day. Thanks so much, if I had a daughter, I would want her to look like Heather.
Thanks everyone for stopping by!

Hi Rhonda! After a short break but a long absence, I’m finally back to the blogosphere and found some time to enjoy your excellent blog…
WOW! I love these beach paintings! They even reconcile me with the yellow colour… (we have a saying: «what would be of the yellow if there was no bad taste… »)!
Many thanks for your comments on Blogtrotter, while I was off. It’s now still in Kos on the way to Crete! Hope you enjoy and wish you a great weekend and a nice week ahead!

Hi Rhonda!
Well, I’m still not back on North Carolina time…hardly can keep up with what day it is.
Wish I could come to the Arts Show. I must get back to see you all before y’all forget me!
Love the painting of the little girl who is now about to be married…sweet!
“Hello” to all the family,
Hugs,
Deborah

Hi Trotter,
Visited your site and loved your trip to Kos–very envious! I'm leaving the beach world and entering the world of painting Still Life's but I'll try to use some yellow fruits & veggies LOL.
Rhonda
Hi Deborah,
I want to hear all about your world travels so I'll stay tuned to your site. I've been to California several times for work and love the Santa Barbara area–really all of Calif. is very very nice except the desert (a little hot) last May when we did Route 66 on the motorcycle! Thanks for your comments about Heather, they're very happy with her.
I wish you would come back to visit–how about 2009?
Hugs too,
Rhonda

This could have been a picture of my daughter and me five years back. Beautiful colours in this painting, Rhonda. I so love your beach scenes!
Wanted to let you know that Amelia Island is situated south of Cumberland Island, Georgia, off the coast of Florida in Nassau County. Fernandina Beach and Amelia City are both located on the island.
We used to go every summer, but it’s not possible now. It’s a great place to vacation with your family.

Hi Sandra,
They were just screaming out to me–paint me! My idea of the perfect vacation–I think we would have fun vegging on the beach! I haven’t been to Amelia Island but certainly would love to go. I’m thinking about Sanibel Island and Marco Island–let’s fact it, any island would be good right now for me. I’ve switched gears and am working on painting still life’s–the tea cup series. I’ll have a new post some day (LOL).
